Piano Lessons

The piano is a great foundational instrument for all musicians. Piano students will learn to play familiar and not so familiar songs. Instruction will focus on developing piano playing technique, as well as, introduce music theory and history in the context of each lesson. Students will learn to play a variety of genres including classical, gospel, jazz, pop, etc. With consistent practice of at least 30min a day, students will learn how to play the piano while gaining an appreciation for the instrument and its history.
Violin Lessons

Violin instruction will focus on rhythm, counting, correct bowing, posture, sight-reading, ear-training and much more. Students will learn how to develop good practicing habits that are essential to learning the instrument. All instruction is tailored to fit each student's individual learning style and interests. With consistent practice of at least 30min a day, students will learn how to play the violin while gaining an appreciation for the instrument and its history. Students will also become familiar with the names and music of well known violinists of past and present across genres.
Voice Lessons

All vocalists are athletes and it is important to make sure that they understand the fundamentals of good singing, no matter what genre of music they choose to perform. Voice instruction emphasizes vocal health. Instruction will also focus on developing vocal stamina, developing performance technique, learning repertoire, ear training, and increasing vocal range. The bel canto method is the foundation of instruction. Students will be exposed to a wide range of musical genres from classical, gospel, contemporary-Christian, jazz, pop to musical theatre, and some of everything in between.
Brass & Wind Instrument Lessons

Trumpet, saxophone, clarinet and flute instruction will focus on developing breathing, embouchure, fingering, rhythmic, sight-reading, ear-training, and articulation skills. Students will also learn how to develop good practicing habits that are associated with mastery of the instrument. All instruction is tailored to fit each student's individual learning style and interests. With consistent practice of at least 30min a day, students will learn how to play the trumpet while gaining an appreciation for the instrument's rich and diverse history. Students will also become familiar with the names and music of well known musicians past and present.
