Dance Instructors
Born in New Haven, CT and raised in Atlanta, GA, Deborah Chambers began training formally in dance at the age of 8 and continued to receive training throughout her formative years. She went on to study dance professionally under the direction of Daniel Lewis at the New World School of the Arts located in Miami, FL. Deborah furthered her studies in dance at the prestigious Ailey School located in New York City under the tutelage of various instructors including Denise Jefferson. Deborah has trained extensively in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip-hop and Dunham (Afro-Caribbean) and recently made her choreographic debut through Dance Canvas, an

Dancing since the age of 4, Edwina Lowe has always had a love for dance. In high school, she danced with Dedications Dance Academy and served as the principal dancer in an opening dance for renowned gospel artist Donnie McClurkin. She also danced with hip-hop studio company Dance Empire who won 1st place in the New York Dance Alliance and West Coast Dance Explosion. While earning a degree in Finance from Florida State University, Edwina discovered that she had a real passion for teaching and choreographing. She joined the campus dance organization Kollage Dance Troupe and used both her financial and choreography skills to strengthen the group as co-choreographer and treasurer.
Over the years, Edwina has trained under some of the best choreographers in all aspects of dance. She has trained with choreographers Marty Kudelka and Gil Dulado, jazz legends Mia Michaels and Dee Caspary and Hope Boykin, an african dance instructor and member of the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. Edwina has also appeared in many music videos and has worked with some of today’s hottest recording artists. Noted for her versatility across genres, from ballet to hip-hop, from jazz to african, she

Jewel Richardson
From the creative expression revealed through the art form, to fitness benefits and the joy found in witnessing the progression of dancers new and old, Jewel Richardson has always had a love for all things related to dance. The Miami, FL native received her early training in dance at Joe Michaels Studios under the direction of Joe Michaels and Mia Michaels of So You Think You Can Dance fame. Jewel's passion for dance grew to greater heights after she joined Dedications Dance Academy, a liturgical dance academy located in Miami, FL. As a member of Dedications, Jewel had the opportunity to minister to members of the local church and community, open up for gospel artist Donnie McClurkin in concert and performed in the reproduction of Fix Me Jesus, part of Alvin Ailey's Revelations. Jewel continued her study in dance at Florida State University, further developing her versatility in ballet, lyrical, modern and hip-hop.With the mission of praising God through dance with a spirit of excellence, Jewel seeks to use dance as a vehicle to inspire others.
